This orchid study was an exploration of lightness, movement and letting go of control in my brushstrokes. I focused on loosening my grip and allowing the paint to move more freely across the surface, creating softer transitions and a more instinctive rhythm within the piece. The dripping background and unfinished marks keep the painting feeling alive and imperfect, while the thick layers of oil paint give the flower a fragile but almost sculptural presence.

What is the difference between an Original and a Print?
Prints are high resolution scans of an Original Artwork which are then printed onto premium paper. An Original Artwork is a piece of artwork that has been hand painted and one of a kind.
Can I order a custom painting?
