This mirror piece plays with the discomfort of looking and being looked at. I wanted to flip the gaze and paint the male body in a way that feels fetishised, exposed and observed.

The work is playful, slightly ridiculous and intentionally awkward rather than overly serious or polished. Painting directly onto a mirror changes the viewer’s relationship with the piece, placing their own reflection inside the image as they look at it.

Please note: this piece cannot be washed or cleaned with liquids and should only be lightly dusted.
